      The "performVerification" option in the reshardCollection command defaults to true when the feature flag is enabled. Currently, in a suite with stepdowns, this test hangs when performing resharding verification. From the investigation in BF-36678 , the root cause appears to be a change stream issue not specific to how ReshardingChangeStreamsMonitor works. So SERVER-98584 made this test specify "performVerification": false when running in a suite with stepdowns.
