      To evaluate different testing methods, it would be nice if we had metrics or jira filters for the bugs caught by the generational regression tests from SPM-3714. This might involve using the evergreen API to find bugs caught in patches.

      Metrics of interest are: what kinds of bugs this method tends to catch, how effective is it, what is the false positive rate, etc
