From the POC branch we need to productionize the IntentGuard class. The behavior is not expected to change with this ticket but there are some general steps we need to take to make these classes production ready. This ticket is focused on the following general improvements

• Code quality
• Variable / function naming
• Proper function documentation
• General formatting

Basically any changes to capture the current behavior and make it ready to be merged to master.
