      As part of SERVER-102502, we removed an assertion that checked for a matching database version after a dropDatabase operation. The relevant change can be seen in this commit.

      This ticket is to review that decision and confirm that removing that validation was correct. If the test case was still useful, we should consider re-committing it or adjusting it to correctly reflect expected behavior.
