As for today, Apr 7 2025, the last commit published in the official GitHub repository is 0a68308 from Feb 5 2025. As a result, releases 6.0.21, 7.0.17–7.0.18, 8.0.5–8.0.6 are available only as binaries.
Could you please officially clarify what the current source code availability policy is for the Community Edition? If Mongo is not being developed in the "open" anymore, for the sake of transparency, please directly communicate what the new policy is and what the source code publishing schedule for Mongo will follow, reflecting it in new revision of SSPL.
I believe there is no need to post a long list of implications for security, compliance, maintenance of existing MongoDB deployments and to the trust of the community.
