Important scenarios will be outlined in the tech design and may include:

• Large and small indexes (number of keys/depth)
• Large and small intervals within the index (length of shared prefix)
• Different shapes of B-tree (closer/further from “balanced” or uniformly distributed)
• More or less index data in cache
