The cleanupTask() of the mongoS is directly accessing components of the Grid without checking if the Grid has been initialized.
This function is called during the shutdown of the server, which could be called when the Grid hasn't been initialized if there is any error during the startup process (as it happened in the BF linked to this ticket).
