The jstests/resmoke_selftest/shell_hang_analyzer.js usually takes around 17min to run (example) in the unittest_shel_hang_analyzer suite.
This test is contributing to increase the overall time required to complete a required evergreen patch, so it has a direct impact on developer productivity.
The goal of this ticket is to investigate why this test takes so long and find a solution to bring down the execution time to less then 10 min.
