      launch mongod with --setParameter auditLogPath=:syslog

      Create a config file with the entry setParameter=auditLogPath=:syslog

      Both will create the file :syslog in the current director

      If you launch mongod with the --setParameter auditLogPath=:syslog , or put setParameter=auditLogPath=:syslog in the config file, a file named :syslog in the current directory is written.

      The :console option works correctly
