Currently, in direct_shard_connection_ddls_during_promotion_to_dedicated.js, we only the dropCollection and the applyOps command are tested during promotion to sharded cluster. As part of this ticket, we should include in the list of tested commands all the remaining DDL commands, listed in the following:

• Create collection
• Rename collection
• Drop database
• Import collection
• Clone collection as capped
• Convert to capped
• Collmod
• Create Index
• Drop Index
• Implicit collection creation
