We'll need a workload where oplog sampling takes at least a couple of minutes. It's worth adding a hidden parameter to force oplog sampling to do a collection scan. With sampling, it can be challenging to discern anything meaningful. All the cases reported in Atlas are a result of sampling falling back to scanning.
