For a connection-related availability workload run that reliably makes the database unavailable, determine how the outage can be detected (preferably beforehand) from data available on the host, such as server status pings, per-process CPU utilization, and other /proc information.

Determine whether such a danger signal is present across all instance sizes, and/or whether it is characteristically different.
