Remove the connCache and retrieve the necessary information in FSM workloads using DiscoverTopology helper functions

      We can remove the connCache and instead fetch the relative information using the DiscoverTopology helper functions. This would allow resolve test failures caused by a stale connCache, which is not properly updated when the add/remove shard hook runs in the background.
