We are considering automatic remediation for when the contents of config.cache.chunks has inconsistencies. We did a similar thing in SERVER-95807 but at the time, we reasoned about whether dropping config.cache.chunks could end up causing inconsistencies on secondaries that are actively refreshing.

This ticket is to document what the potential impact is of dropping config.cache.chunks especially with regards to secondary refreshes.
