HELP-79916 highlights a case where a query with a large number of predicates to simplify caused out of memory issues for a customer that upgraded to 8.0.

Despite the customer’s query containing fewer unique predicates than the default value of 64 for the parameter internalQueryMaximumNumberOfUniquePredicatesToSimplify, the issue still occurred.

We should investigate whether any bugs in the boolean simplifier code could have contributed to this high memory consumption. Additionally, we should investigate why the default value of 64 was insufficient in preventing the problem and consider lowering the default value.
