With SERVER-98371, we have essentially a re-implementation of the btree indices optimized for the sampling CE. The current test suite works on a fixed set of inputs and manually extracted corresponding ground truths. It would be nicer to have a PBT that checks that the extracted keystring components are equal to what the btree key generator extracts.
