Description
Define default server values for oplogSizeMB and oplogMinRetentionHours when no user configuration is set
Define what configuration values result in truncation being disabled
There should be a well-documented, easy way to do this in an emergency
Match ASC behavior where possible
Test that configuration is set correctly in DSC by:
replSetResizeOplog
--oplogSize
/
replication.oplogSizeMB
--oplogMinRetentionHours
/
storage.oplogMinRetentionHours
Test that if we set on standby nodes, these parameters should be ignored. This enforces that oplogSizeMB and oplogMinRetentionHours are always configured at a cluster-wide level.
