In SERVER-121357, we implemented a test to verify the accurate count and size of documents during a transaction, as well as after the transaction commits or aborts. This includes verifying behavior for large transactions that are broken into chained applyOps entries. To ensure broader coverage across different deployment types, such as sharded clusters and replica sets, we propose converting this test or creating an analogous test that can be run via Passthrough suites.
