A user is able to provide a list of session ids to be refreshed when calling `refreshSessions`. If the ids provided do not already exist, they will be automatically created and added to the list of active sessions.

This may be an intended or undocumented feature as a user seems to be able to create an arbitrary number of sessions using `startSession` or other mechanisms.
