Currently, server-release are codeowners on test-only hooks, resmoke suite configs, etc. on release branches. My understanding is that test-only changes on release branches should not require server-release approval.
Specifically, I'd like the codeowners to be updated so BACKPORTs to following files don't require release team approval as they are test-only (but it likely makes sense to update the owners files to reflect the general directories):
- generate_and_check_perf_results.py (resmoke hooks)
- benchmarks_sep.yml (resmoke suite definitions)
- performance_thresholds.yml
- perf-submission.sh
Also, I'm wondering should any of the Evergreen task and variant definitions require release team approval (for example)?
