`validate_adaptor.cpp` issues log messages and a final report referencing validation failures. The BSON Validation is short-circuited when there is a sizing issue detected as it's presumed invalid by that point. This follows a separate error path than the typical failed BSON validation which may be worth investigating to see if it can produce issues with validation results or attributions.
