Summary
In a patch build that introduces a new (A,UB)SAN variant for disaggregated storage, there are some crashers that generate core dumps, but the core dumps do not get saved. The logs do not show any error from the S3 upload_file command, but a sanity check that runs immediately after shows that there is no file at the requested upload location. These log lines show the failure to find the uploaded core files.
Steps to Reproduce
Core dumps are missing from all crashes in the linked patch build. I don't know if the problem is specific to how I've configured the new variant or if it's happening in other variants as well.
Expected Result
Core dumps archived with other task outputs.
Actual Result
Core dumps not available.
Impact
Availability of core dumps would help with diagnosis of WT-17244.
