The suite concurrently does migrations in the background while executing tests. This is the same as if the balancer was turned on, which means certain assertions have to be relaxed.

Today the suite doesn't have the field set, which results in certain tests failing arbitrarily if the proper conditions are met since assertions that shouldn't be checked fail.
