Revisit exceptions that should stop replicated size and count metadata checkpoint

      Currently we stop the background threads when getting InterruptedDueToReplStateChange and NotWritablePrimary. We should check if there could be other exceptions that should be treated similarly.

      A helper function might also be created for reuse.
