      Related BF-44288 is seeing performance regressions because QuerySentinel was enabled with PR 4910 on June 5th. See more detail on the linked BF.

      After discussing with the WR team (slack post), their recommendation is to just disable QuerySentinel for this configuration. They've already made this change in replica-sets.

      The rationale is that EC (Execution Control) handles long queries better than QuerySentinel and essentially replaces it.
