Summary
As part of the required patch on master, build more things for macos (unit tests? or in debug mode?).
Background / Context
Some things are now built on macos as part of the required build, but not everything that is part of the master or nightly builds. This causes surprise failures sometimes, e.g. BF-42731. I'm not sure what exactly wasn't built in the required patch.
Proposed Solution
Build the missing macos binaries as part of the required patch.
Requirements
- Failures from binaries that would fail to build on macos fail as part of the required patch rather than just as part of master or nightly runs.
Impact
Less toil from BFs created for things that don't compile on certain environments but aren't built under normal circumstances.
