Continuous Validation continuously compares validation hashes between the primary and non-primary nodes. When a mismatch is detected, the server parameter continuousInternodeValidationFatalOnMismatch controls whether the node fasserts (true) or logs and continues (false). We have decided (WRITING-39906) to not fassert during startup. When a mismatch is detected during startup, the node should log the mismatch and continue rather than taking the fatal action, regardless the configured behaviour for mismatches detected at other times.
