      As we are developing this metric, we do not add it to server status as it is not complete. Once the call sites are updated to record it properly, we can start to publish it in serverStatus and to our metrics backend.

      It would be great to get this in OTEL also (see comment on https://github.com/10gen/mongo/pull/62276)
