Today bisection activates individual tasks directly on the waterfall. Investigate running that work as Evergreen patch builds instead, with parameters applied specifically to finish faster (e.g. reduced test scope, distro/priority tuning, skipping unrelated generators) – trading a different cost/parallelism profile for lower time-to-resolution, or vice versa. Needs the cost ledger's cost data and the baseline's latency numbers to judge the tradeoff, not just intuition.
