Use Case: If I open up a debugger I can point to a debuginfod or Symbol Server and I automatically get all symbols. I can do this for crash dump that allows me to not require a foreign host to debug.

Look at Source Indexing for Windows. This puts git information in the Symbol Files so that the debugger can download source. Not local repo is required.

Investigate if debuginfod has a Source Indexing equivalent.
