Today user can't reliably evaluate if the index is used over time. Also it is hard for Atlas to advice for dropping an unused index, as access count resets on restart, and often we only see accesses over past week or two, which is too short to make assumptions about index being not used.
Knowing when the index was used last time regardless of node restarts would be very helpful in identifying unused indexes and suggesting hiding->dropping.
