internalQueryStatsTopKSortOptimizationEnabled query knob was added to safely backport the top-k queryStats optimization and provide Atlas a way to turn off the optimization if an issue occurs. Once we've deployed the optimization and confirmed with Atlas it is enabled, we can remove this knob.
