I'd like a feature similar to the SQL Server Connection String application name feature. Basically you can provide a descriptive application name to SQL Server, and that is displayed in the various tools that monitor connections like the profiler.
Initially, this descriptive name can be displayed in the log if you add enough -v's to the command line. It can be added to other places as it makes sense.
