Extend lock manager unit-testing around lock mode conversion

      Lock manager's unit tests around cancelling a pending conversion request only exercise the 'strong modes' code path and do not test the 'weak modes' IS/IX, which have special logic in order to reduce contention.

      The unit-tests should be extended.
