It would be useful to have a basic resource threshold monitor task running, that outputs an error if a threshold is exceeded.
Resource thresholds should include:
- # of mongod processes vs. total RAM
- # Disk usage exceeding 80%
- # of open sockets
- Excessive thread usage for 1 process
