In all the version of Mongodb linux platform,mongodb don't provide a service control file for users to config mongodb auto start service.We must to write it by ourselves.Some times the file write by ourselves not worked well.So I suggest you provide a offical service control file like "mysql.server" in mysql database.It can give users a easy way to config mongodb autostart with chkconfig command.
