The new version of the timezone db (https://www.iana.org/time-zones/repository/releases/tzdata2017c.tar.gz) is failing to compile:

[2017/11/10 10:38:09.018] zdump.c:803: error: static declaration of ‘snprintf’ follows non-static declaration

Based on some discussion, there are others who have hit this and a proposed compile flag fix.
