WiredTiger's LSM configuration has never been supported in MongoDB. We have an unscheduled project on our backlog to make that support official. In the meantime, automated test failures against LSM generate interrupts for developers but mostly end up on the backlog.

Instead, we should reduce the automated testing of LSM to some minimal set (e.g., jscore and dbtest) until we schedule the work to officially support LSM in MongoDB.
