There are many instances in our UUID handling that have special exceptions for the system.namespaces and system.indexes collections. Most, if not all, of this handling references tickets SERVER-29926 and/or SERVER-30095 in comments. Since MMAP is being removed for 4.2, this special UUID handling should be removed as well.
