I did a quick grep for renameCollection and found these major uses:

• DocumentSourceOut::finalize
• convertToCapped
• mapReduce

However, there are also several other internal uses that I think do not need to call configsvrRenameCollection, but should be audited, like:

• DropPendingCollectionReaper
• createCollectionForApplyOps
