      ISSUE SUMMARY

      MongoDB Server Installation MSI for both Community and Enterprise no longer contain binaries for developer tools.

      USER IMPACT

      Users or automated processes that rely on the developer tools being bundled with the MongoDB Server MSI may fail.

      WORKAROUNDS

      Users or automated scripts will have to download the install the developer tools separately from the website, such as here.

      AFFECTED VERSIONS

      This affects version 4.4.

      FIX VERSION

      We are currently working on a fix for 4.4, this notice will be updated when a 4.4 release is available.
