    • v4.4
    • Dev Platform 2020-04-20, Dev Platform 2020-05-04

      See the following output:

      [kaloianm@Kal-MacBook-Pro:~/workspace/mongo]$ python3 ./buildscripts/scons.py --variables-files=etc/scons/xcode_macosx.vars --libc++ --detect-odr-violations --dbg=on --opt=off --ninja=next VARIANT_DIR=ninja generate-ninja
      ...
      scons: Building targets ...
      scons: done building targets.
      [kaloianm@Kal-MacBook-Pro:~/workspace/mongo]$ ninja core
      ninja: error: loading 'build.ninja': No such file or directory

      But without the =next portion it works fine:

      [kaloianm@Kal-MacBook-Pro:~/workspace/mongo]$ python3 ./buildscripts/scons.py --variables-files=etc/scons/xcode_macosx.vars --libc++ --detect-odr-violations --dbg=on --opt=off --ninja VARIANT_DIR=ninja generate-ninja
      ...
      scons: Building targets ...
      Generating: build.ninja
      scons: done building targets.
