[SBE] Investigate if we can extend sharding APIs to be more Value centric

      During the work of SERVER-50712 we had to mkObj() the shard key extracted from a document because the ScopedCollectionFilter API required a BSONObj or a WSM. It would be beneficial for performance if the sharding APIs were more Value centric. Can we talk to sharding and extend the APIs? How much work will this be and how invasive would these changes be?
