mongostat throws an error when connecting via a 1.8.x mongos - "unrecognized command: getnonce"

      Here's the output from 2.0.4 (2.1 build also shows this) mongostat connecting to the 1.8.4 mongos:

      ./mongostat --discover -h localhost:27017
