The WaitForMajority service can asynchronously wait for majority write concern and SERVER-54203 will add a way to asynchronously wait for a write concern other than majority with an infinite wTimeout, but there is currently no way to asynchronously wait for non-majority write concern with a wTimeout. As we write more asynchronous code, adding a way to do that would be useful.
