The cause of BF-20470 seems to have been a DNS failure to lookup the single hostname, about 5 minutes into the test. There is only one hostname involved in the test, and it is the hostname of the host running the test! Why would that fail?

I think we need to do something about DNS in tests. There's no reason to use network resources from outside the host to run this kind of correctness check.
