      We have a BF where the first initial sync attempt fails due to network error, and we expect that we succeed from first attempt

      we should store the value of the failedInitialSyncAttempts after the first initial sync attempt, and then just check that the counter === failedInitialSyncAttempts + 1 after switching sync sources
