We enabled some debug logging in WiredTiger in local testing to help locate the transactions that were hanging. Since the WiredTiger logs include the idents but not the collection and index namespaces/UUIDs, it would help to include the idents at a couple of key transition points in an index build to help locate the namespace with the conflicts.

We have seen some timeouts in our CI system relating to prepared transaction being re-applied on the same node in different replication modes. It would be nice to look into logging improvements to improve diagnostics in these scenarios.
