We have replica set with little over 1TB size. After node crash the server re-validates the data and during this period provides practically zero useful progress. I have been waiting for 10 hours with very few messages about some "files" whose count does not match the files I have in the mongo data folder. No progress indicator like "10 out of 100". It's extremely painful to wait without any idea how long it's gonna take.

The verbose logs for WT also don't improve this situation much. They show tons of operations (yaay we are not stuck) but again zero indication of progress that would allow me to extrapolate when the job might be finished.
