Starting up ESE with no KMIP server available leaves a backtrace

      Starting up a mongod with parameters to speak to a KMIP server causes it to reach out to the server. When there is no available KMIP server, the mongod should fail gracefully. Instead, it leaves a stack trace, which is unclean.
